    Deborah McelKenny

    Deb is thrilled that she has the opportunity to share her passion and love for pilates AGAIN in beautiful South County Rhode Island! She has been practicing Pilates for over 20 years and has been teaching for 17 years. Deb is a STOTT Pilates trained Instructor in Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Prenatal, Tower, TOTAL BARRE & Fascia work. She is looking forward to including more Fascia work in her clients sessions through the MELT method. Deb has seen the amazing benefits of quality Pilates training to improve core strength, increase flexibility, injury prevention and recovery. Always continuing her education, she will bring new techniques and challenges to her clients and classes of all ages and fitness levels. Deb's favorite Pilates reformer exercise is Control Front Plank. This is a challenging full body engagement move to perform using your core, glutes and shoulders to stabilize the spine and pelvis. She loves to finish with feet in straps to get a nice stretch through your hamstrings and back! You are guaranteed to get a head to toe workout in all of her classes.

    Jennifer Pascale

    Jennifer, a former athlete, found Pilates after a back injury and has been practicing Pilates since 2006. She has been working in the fitness industry since 2002 teaching spinning, body conditioning and core classes at various gyms. She began Pilates training with Balanced Body in 2007. She completed Pilates mat work in 2008, followed by reformer, cadillac, and all equipment training in 2009 with Balanced Body Pilates. In 2011, she finished up her training with Anatomy and 200 observation and apprentice hours. She became a fully certified Balanced Body Pilates instructor in 2011 and has been teaching Pilates since 2008 at various studios in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Since Jen has had a back injury herself, she continues to educate herself to work with specialized populations and has worked with joint replacements, as well as osteoporosis and arthritic clients. She has also trained athletes with off season conditioning and helped them rehab from injury.

    Jen's favorite challenging exercise on the reformer is Snake and her favorite yummy stretch is Mermaid. You can expect a fun full body challenge that will leave you standing taller and feeling stronger in her classes! Jen is happy to be teaching near her hometown at CBX Pilates Studio.

    Elana Esposito

    Elena is a graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Rhode Island. She is from Long Island, NY and loves group exercise. Elena is a certified Pilates reformer instructor and a certified BARRE instructor. She is a motivating and friendly instructor who looks to challenge her clients in the best way with new pilates techniques. Elena's favorite Reformer exercise is the Standing Side Splits! They target variois muscle groups including the glutes and abdominals that improve pelvic stabilization. This is a fun exercise to challenge your balance and coordination. You can expect Elena to encourage you to leave your worries at the door and focus on your mind-body connection during her classes. Elena is very excited to continue teaching with all of us at CBX!
